Today, a festive event was held at the “Oqnur” venue in the city of Urgut to celebrate October 1st — Teachers and Mentors Day.

The invaluable role of teachers and mentors in society and their dedication to the path of knowledge and enlightenment were specially recognized during the event.

The ceremony was attended by Urgut District Governor Saidqulov Dilmurod Bastamovich, Head of the Samarkand Regional Department of Preschool and School Education Hamdamov Muzaffar Yazdonqulovich, sector leaders, as well as Head of the Urgut District Department of Preschool and School Education Zoitov Javlon Zokirovich.
