A procedure has been introduced for notaries to issue writs of execution for undisputed civil-law claims.

On September 9 of this year, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted Resolution No. 280 “On additional measures for the further development of the notariat institution and the wide implementation of modern information and communication technologies in the sector.” According to this resolution, starting from March 1, 2026, notaries will be authorized to issue writs of execution for the following undisputed civil-law claims up to one thousand times the basic calculation value:

(a) claims based on notarized agreements;

(b) claims regarding the enforcement against movable property serving as security for the debtor’s obligations, provided there is a written and notarized agreement;

(c) claims for the recovery of debts on rental payments, mandatory contributions and payments from owners of premises in multi-apartment buildings, as well as debts for utility and communication services.

This resolution will create broad opportunities for citizens and entrepreneurs to protect their rights and legitimate interests in courts, improve the quality of justice, and optimize the workload of judges.
